During the autum of 2022 we had a sustainability course where we took and existing product and tried to reduce the Co2 emissions and implement it in a circular economy. In my groups case we got childrens cross-country skis from old time manufacturer Edsbyn which makes furniture today. For my individual assignment I reached out to finnish ski producers PUSU skis and proposed diffrent woods to help generate as much POP as possible and they helped choosing which wood and what kind of surface treatment that was most suitable to create a ski that was as biological degradeable as can be.
